SpaWell in Peize offers a delightful escape from the daily hustle and bustle. This compact yet surprisingly spacious wellness resort is ideal for those seeking a day filled with relaxation and pampering. With nine different saunas, you will always find a warm spot that suits your mood. For instance, opt for the soothing infrared sauna to relax your muscles, or take a deep breath in the steam room that refreshes your skin and airways. In the garden stands the impressive Kelo Sauna made of natural wood, and the Salt Stone Sauna provides relief for those sensitive to respiratory issues.
In addition to the saunas, there are various warm baths where you can completely unwind. The heated indoor pool forms the heart of the resort. Here, you can float in the saltwater pool or enjoy the massage power of the whirlpools. Even outside, you can find whirlpools – perfect for stimulating your circulation and relaxing your muscles. If you enjoy variety, you can visit the cold plunge pool for a refreshing moment.
Between your moments of relaxation, there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy something delicious to eat or drink in the cozy restaurant. You can stop by for a snack, a drink, or a complete meal. There are also comfortable relaxation areas where you can sink into a book or take a nap.
Want to make your wellness day extra special? Choose a wellness ritual. These are guided by a staff member and combine short treatments, such as a massage, with self-applied products like scrubs or creams. You can easily book them upon arrival at the reception.
Good to know: every second and fourth Tuesday of the month is swimwear day. Starting in 2025, there will be additional swimwear days on Tuesdays during school holidays. On these days, swimwear is mandatory. Always check the dates, as holidays may differ.

Travelled in May 2026, 2 nights, as a couple. Took the Groningen package on a midweek — hotel, breakfast and spa entry sorted in one go. Tuesday saw a quiet city and an even quieter spa. Midweek value for money was excellent. Parking fees ran higher than expected. Recommended if you'd rather unwind away from the weekend rush.

Travelled in April 2026, 2 nights, with friends. Booked the Groningen package for four — wellness and city trip in one bundle, exactly what we wanted. Lunch at the Vismarkt was the hit, then photos at Forum Groningen. TV remote only half worked. We'll just do it again next year.

Travelled in March 2026, 2 nights, family. Booked the Groningen package with the kids (8 and 11) — us at the spa, kids in town. Family room with bunk bed was a help. Climbing the Martinitoren (260 steps) was their highlight. Did the spa while grandad watched them. Mattress squeaked when turning over. Definitely coming back.

The spa in town is pleasantly compact. Lunch at the Vismarkt, then back into the wellness area. Window let in some street noise. Recommended if you want a city trip with proper downtime.
