Travelled April 2026, 2 nights, girls' trip. Booked the Amboise package as a four, wine tasting at Caves Ambacia was included. Château d'Amboise above the Loire really stuck with me. Then a bit of the Loire cycle route. Upstairs neighbour was an early riser. Doing it again next year.

Travelled March 2026, 3 nights, with family. Booked the Amboise family package, wine tasting at Caves Ambacia for the two of us was included. For the kids (7 and 10) we had Clos Lucé de Leonardo on the list. Family room with bunks really helped. Shower ticked at night. We'll be back.

Beautiful cellars, calm explanation of the Loire wines. Then Château d'Amboise above the Loire. Bathroom tap dripped. Recommended for a sorted Loire + wine break.
